- 60 min:
- AED 500
- 90 min:
- AED 800
Moroccan Bath Body Ritual is a four-stage cleansing treatment: steam, black soap, Kessa glove exfoliation and a hydrating body mask. It suits guests who want thorough exfoliation and skin renewal rather than a purely muscle-focused massage, and it pairs well with a massage booked on a separate visit. The 60-minute session costs AED 500. The 90-minute session costs AED 800, with extra time in the steam room and a fuller mask application. It also works well before a special occasion, since the exfoliation leaves skin noticeably smoother right after the session ends.
How the Moroccan Bath Body Ritual session works
The ritual starts in a warm, steam-filled room that softens skin and opens pores before any scrubbing begins. Your therapist then applies traditional black soap made with eucalyptus and olive oil. It is left to sit briefly so it can loosen dead skin cells. Next comes exfoliation with a Kessa glove, a textured mitt that removes dead skin through firm, sweeping strokes. The session finishes with a nourishing body mask, leaving skin hydrated and smooth once rinsed off. Each stage builds on the one before it, moving from steam to cleansing to exfoliation to hydration. The full sequence takes place in a private treatment space at RuSpa.
Moroccan Bath in Al Barsha
RuSpa is inside Courtyard by Marriott Dubai, on Al Barsha Road behind Mall of the Emirates. The spa opens daily from 10:00 to 02:00. Walk-ins are welcome if the steam room is free. Because the steam room needs a short time to prepare, messaging ahead helps the front desk have everything ready. Message or call +971 52 597 2387 on WhatsApp to check availability. Mention any recent sunburn to your therapist beforehand, since these areas need gentler handling during exfoliation.
